We are busy planning a bunch of events leading up to race day!

Kids Bike Rodeo

Saturday, Aug. 18
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
10th and Jackson streets

Co-presented by TheCyclist-lawyer.com. Kids can learn to ride safe on this outdoor course! Safety seminars, helmet fitting, fun and instruction from Bicycle Colorado.  Bikes for the course are provided by Bicycle Colorado. Free helmets will be given to children while supplies are available.

Lookout Mountain Hill Climb

Friday, Aug. 24
4 p.m. Start
19th street at the Pillars

Race up the area’s most iconic climbs in a Citizens time trial.  This event will feature the official USA Pro Challenge Start House!  Registration available soon at PreRace.com.

Taste of Golden Block Party

5 to 9 p.m.
Washington Avenue, Downtown Golden

Golden pulls out all the stops for this bike-themed block party.  Enjoy music by J.P Harris and the Touch Choices.  Don’t miss the My HandleBar Bike relays!  Food drink and entertainment for all.

Movie in the Park

7:30 p.m. awards ceremony, movie at dusk, about 8:30 p.m.
Lions Park Ballfields, 10th and Illinois streets

Join us for the Lookout Mountain Hill Climb awards ceremony before a showing of Breaking Away under the stars.  Bring your chairs and blankets!  Bring your own picnic dinner or enjoy dinner downtown at the block party before the movie.  Please, no alcohol in the park.
